ACCESS INFORMATION 

 

At Certain Blacks, accessibility and inclusion shape what we do.

So before we begin, accessibility modes for our website is at the bottom left of the page on every page just click on the icon.

Ensemble Festival champions a wide range of artists—including those with visible and invisible disabilities—and we collaborate with them to ensure your experience is as inclusive as possible. 

We are also committed to creating a welcoming experience for all audience members. If you have access requirements or suggestions to help us improve, please visit the information tent and speak with our Access Team.

ACCESS AT ENSEMBLE FESTIVAL

Location: The Royal Victoria Docks, Western Gateway, London, E16 1FA. 

Getting there by public transport

  • DLR: Royal Victoria (step-free access. 10-minute walk to the site) or Custom House. You can find a step-free tube guide HERE.
  • Elizabeth Line: Custom House
  • Buses: 325, 474, 241 
  • IFS Cable Car: Direct from the O2 Centre

What you will find on-site

  • Dedicated Access Point at the Information Tent
  • Step-free routes across the site
  • Accessible toilet on Western Gateway, outside the Good Hotel and opposite Tesco
  • Baby changing toilets are available in local hotels
  • Assistance Dogs welcome
  • Seating is available for each act and additional chairs upon request
  • All events are chilled performances. This means you can move around as you wish and make noise. 

ACCESSIBLE PERFORMANCES

Access and inclusion are at the heart of Certain Blacks. We are committed to creating a welcoming space for Deaf, Disabled and Neurodivergent audiences and artists. 

Our friendly staff are on site to help you have the best festival experience. All performances:

  • Are wheelchair accessible
  • Have Level Access
  • Welcome Assistance Dogs
  • Have chairs available

 

We have special accessibility for each show.

All our access performances will happen on Sunday 27th of July
