ENSEMBLE FESTIVAL 2025

ENVIRONMENTAL COMMITMENT

Our commitment:

Certain Blacks recognises its responsibility to protect the environment. We’re working hard to make Ensemble Festival more sustainable and less wasteful.

Our team is committed to reducing the environmental impact through sustainable practices in travel, energy use, and materials, while encouraging artists to make low-emission choices and minimise waste wherever possible.

You can also help us make Ensemble Festival a greener event each year.

Here are a few things you can do:

Dispose of waste responsibly – look out for recycling stations, and don’t leave rubbish behind.

Pack sustainably – bring reusables (water bottle, cutlery, coffee cup…)

Avoid single-use plastics and disposable items – bring a tote bag.

Choose low-carbon travel when you can – here are a few public transport tips:

Location: The Royal Victoria Docks, Western Gateway, London, E16 1FA.

Getting there:

  • DLR: Royal Victoria (step-free access; 10-minute walk to the site). You can find a step-free tube guide HERE.
  • Underground: Elizabeth Line, Custom House Station
  • Buses: 325, 474, 241
  • IFS Cable Car: Direct from the O2 Centre

We approach our environmental efforts with openness. If you have any ideas, please share them with our team – we’d love your help.
