Bureau of Silly Ideas

Bureau of Silly Ideas – ISLAND STORM
Returning to Ensemble by popular demand, Bureau of Silly Ideas present a story set where coastal erosion has caused the catastrophic loss of a family-run amusement arcade. The survivors are now on tour and scratching out a living with what they managed to salvage. Join them for circus, watery fun, laughter and stunts as audiences enter their magical arcade.

Hear the true story of a family who lost their amusement arcade to coastal erosion in ISLAND STORM from Baileys Original Seaside Imaginarium as stunt clowns dazzle and delight audiences while encouraging them to engage with some of the biggest issues we face today. This production is co-commissioned by Stockton International Riverside Festival and Brighton Festival for Without Walls.

About Bureau of Silly Ideas
Bureau Of Silly Ideas (BOSI) are figureheads in the UK outdoor arts sector. As recognised pioneers within the field we continue to transform public spaces, creating new pathways and platforms for engagement and have been challenging what ‘art’ is through silliness and interrogation for over 20 years.
